An Adventure

Last night I received a call from someone saying he had a black cat in his apartment and he thought it might be India. He said it had green eyes and looked just like the picture in the Craigslist ad. Also, when I was at the Humane Society (for the zillionth time, it feels like) they said the average search lasts 4 months.  They said that people will see a pet looking ragged and take it in, and then after a few months will bring it to the shelter.   Tomorrow will be two months, so I'm only half way there. Some people see a stray pet lo
